Looks like Michael Penix Jr., the rookie out of UW will be coming in after three Cousins turnover.Make that three straight turnovers. Coby Bryant picks off Kirk Cousins, who sailed a pass over Kyle Pitts with 5:54 to go.

DK Metcalf taking a cart into the locker room…

Jason Myers with a 59-yard field goal. 34-14 Seahawks with 7:10 to go.

They win that battle, but the Seahawks win the war. Julian Love with the interception. Two straight drives with takeaways.

Pass interference is waved off by the officials there, as the two Atlanta receivers ran toward each other to uase a collision.

Mafe with the strip/sack, and Derick Hall scoops it up for the touchdown,. 31-14 Seahawks with 12:46 to go.

Touchdown Drake London. Nehemiah Pritchett taken advantage of on fourth-and-1 there. Not even supposed to be here today, at least in the starting lineup, but again, Seahawks are missing three other corners. 17-14 Seahawks, 7:43 Q3.

Thought maybe the Seahawks would try to get a short completion to set up a Myers field goal at the end of the half, but… it’s a touchdown to DK Metcalf. He beats A.J. Terrell for a 31-yard TD. 17-7 Seahawks with four ticks left in the half.

The Falcons also have Tyler Allgeier on their roster along with Bijan Robinson. They’re making big discoveries today. 23-yard gain by Allgeier there. Two-minute warning time. The negative plays mean Dickson time instead of Myers time. Feels like the defense needs to get this stop here.

Christian Haynes comes in for Anthony Bradford on this drive and makes his presence felt with a false start. Three straight negative plays after the big wide receiver pass play.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba with the pass to DK. It doesn’t really work..,. but it works as Metcalf makes a nice catch.

Falcons are already up to 86 rushing yards in this game — 6.6 yards per carry. Seahawks reportedly have linebackers…

The Falcons seem to have realized they have Bijan Robinson on the roster.

Walker comes back in and scores a birthday touchdown on a 20-yard run. 10-0 Seahawks 9:52 Q2. Nice blocking by Jerrell on the TD.

Nice improvisation by Geno Smith to find Noah Fant for a big gain. Walker back in after Charbonnet picked up three yards on two carries.

Atlanta moves the ball, but Cousins overthrows Ray Ray McCloud on third down and Younghoe Koo missed a 54-yard FG attempt.

Smith drops the snap, which might have grazed TE Noah Fant, who was in motion.

Seahawks turn to false start. Michael Jerrell called for that one.

Short completions are what Kirk Cousins does best, and Atlanta will punt after being unable to pick up the first down on third-and-15

Couple of false starts by Atlanta. Must be the 12s. Make that 3!

Looks like maybe the DB got a finger on that ball to Metcalf in the end zone.

Ball goes off DK Metcalf’s hands in end zone, and then Smith is forced to throw it away on third down. Jason Myers comes on for a 38-yarder and slips it inside the left upright for a 3-0 lead 10:05 Q1. Time to see what the defense has this week.

Nice easy TD run by Walker comes back on holding call against rookie TE AJ Barner.

Walker in the backfield on the first play. It was a play action pass, and he did not throw up. Then a 9-yard carry after a PI call against Atl.

ESPN matchup predictor gives Falcons a 57.8 percent chance to beat the Seahawks. I think it’s probably closer to 57.7, but whatever.

Sounds like Jalen Sundell is backing up both tackle spots today. Will be interesting to see if he gets mixed into the game at RT with Michael Jerrell. Seahawks have already by mixing in Christian Haynes at guard in games. At some point you’d think they’d want to settle on 5,.

What has been missing from Mike Macdonald and John Schneider interviews on KIRO radio’s pregame show is any questions about Kenneth Walker III. Hmmm….

Seahawks GM John Schneider tells KIRO Radio that Jalen Sundell may get mixed into the offensive line today. Not sure how great of an idea it is to keep tinkering in Week 7, but then again, they are down to their fourth-string right tackle (Michael Jerrell).

Mike Macdonald tells KIRO radio: “We’re excited for the opportunity to prove who we are as a football team against a team that is riding high here in Atlanta.”
